Have you ever wanted to swap out your current build for a more powerful one but decided against it because it took too much work? We wouldn’t blame you. After all, who wants to spend 15 minutes reallocating every skill and paragon point only to discover that you were following the wrong path? Well, soon, you won’t have to struggle with respecing your character because a Diablo 4 dev recently confirmed that an armory allowing you to seamlessly swap builds is in the works.

In response to a player’s post asking about a potential armory in-game, Diablo’s senior vice president Rod Fergusson simply said, “Working on it!” So yes, if you want to switch out, say, your best Diablo 4 Chain Lightning Sorcerer build for the meta-dominating Lightning Spear setup that can demolish Infernal Hordes in an instant, you can finally do so, albeit farther off in the future.

In a separate response, Ferguson added that the armory will arrive later than the Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred release date, “but hopefully not too much.” With this in mind, it could be a feature the dev team introduces as part of Season 6 or in a later major update towards the end of the year. But since the team hasn’t yet confirmed an official launch window or date, you’ll have to remain patient and create your builds the old-fashioned way.

Of course, these aren’t the only new features arriving as part of the Vessel of Hatred update. Fergusson also confirmed that the next big patch would allow you to set your favorite waypoint, so you won’t be forced to travel to Ked Bardu, Kyovashad, or any other major cities when you press ‘T.’ Co-op gameplay is also getting a significant buff with VoH, as the devs are introducing a Party Finder feature that should make finding groups for the new multiplayer endgame activity called the Dark Citadel easier.
