A Diablo 4 Barbarian build that can apparently clear endgame content with ease has surfaced, but fans aren’t exactly pleased with its appearance. Apparently, some players are not happy with how this particular strategy “trivialized” the “hardest endgame content” after a mere 70 hours. Instead, it seems as if these fans bafflingly want to see players suffer for much longer before they can start flying through the game effortlessly.

The build in question comes from a content creator named Rob2628, who recently shared a video showcasing his “Whirlwind Barb” that he used to complete a tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon. For those unfamiliar, Nightmare Dungeons are areas that contain some of the most difficult enemies and bosses, which means clearing one, especially at a high difficulty tier, is no mean feat.

Rob’s in-depth video initially begins with a sneak peak of his character’s gear, which includes a collection of fully upgraded Legendary and Ancestral equipment that provided absurd boosts to various stats. However, the pièce de résistance of his preferred set were the Ancestral Gloves that he had equipped, which gave his Whirlwind ability the added effect of exploding after it ends.

In regular scenarios, this build would probably be enough to clear Dungeons in mere minutes. Of course, a tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon is a different matter altogether as evidenced by his multiple near-death experiences during his attempt. Unfortunately, the difficult feats Rob displayed during his venture into Witchwater was not enough to convince fans of this build’s legitimacy.

One player named Freds1765 even created a Reddit post stating that Diablo 4’s slower and more methodical pace largely appealed to them. However, they became frustrated upon seeing Rob2628’s video because the content creator apparently “just spins around and uses a Unique item to literally one-shot elites with crits into the billions.”

Some commenters would end up agreeing with the post creator, however, there were a few responders that challenged the author’s ideology entirely. Based on what was shown in the video, it doesn’t seem as if the “Whirlwind Barb” trivializes anything at all as Rob2628 still had a difficult time completing the Nightmare Dungeon. But since it’s a prerelease build, this argument may eventually become moot upon the game’s launch as there will be a day one patch released.
