Devil May Cry 5 has received a brand new trailer showcasing the return of veteran demon hunters Trish and Lady, plus mysterious newcomer V, the game's third playable character.

Not much is known about V right now, other than him being a 'mysterious' and 'peculiar' demon hunter. The main star of the show is Dante however, who rocks up to the fight brandishing his trademark Ebony & Ivory handguns and Cavaliere, a stylish new motorcycle-based weapon.

The silver-haired hero also comes equipped with his iconic sword, Sparda, as well as Rebellion and Coyote-A.

Meanwhile, Trish and Lady should be instantly familiar with longtime fans of Devil May Cry. The former has been knocking around since the first game, while Lady turned up in Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening.

Capcom also confirmed details on the Devil May Cry 5 Deluxe Edition, which includes the full game plus four exclusive Devil Breaker weapons, live-action cutscenes, 12 tracks plucked from Devil May Cry 1-4, alternate announcers for style rankings and title calls, plus Dante's Cavaliere R.

Devil May Cry 5 is due out for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 8, 2019. VideoGamer's Josh Wise recently had a crack at the game, and reckons it's shaping up nicely.
