Dante and the gang are well and truly back, as sales tracking company Chart Track has announced that Devil May Cry 5 has topped the UK sales charts this week.

The news gives publisher Capcom its second number one of the year after the Resident Evil 2 remake and marks the first time the series has had the coveted position since Ninja Theory's DmC (which is still a pretty fine game) back in 2013.

The rest of this week's chart is fairly similar to last week, although Red Dead Redemption 2 climbs back up to second while last week's number one, EA's Anthem, slips down to fourth place. Here's how the top 10 looks:

  1.  Devil May Cry 5
  2. Red Dead Redemption 2
  3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  4. Anthem
  5. FIFA 19
  6. Far Cry: New Dawn
  7. The Lego Movie 2 Videogame
  8. Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  9. Metro Exodus
  10. Grand Theft Auto V

We quite liked Devil May Cry 5 as well, you can find out exactly how much by reading our review here.
