Bungie and Activision were celebrating last night as Destiny took home the Best Game award at the British Academy Games Awards.

Destiny is Bungie's fourth BAFTA win, with the three others coming for entries in the Halo franchise.

Monument Valley, the mobile puzzle game from indie studio Ustwo, walked away with two awards (British Game and Mobile & Handheld). The Last of Us: Left Behind also snapped up two awards for Story and Performer - the second consecutive year for Ashley Johnson.

Elsewhere Lumino City won in the Artistic Achievement category, while Alien: Isolation collected the BAFTA for Audio Achievement. Far Cry 4 won the award for Music.

OlliOlli caused a shock taking home the BAFTA for Sport, while Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) was awarded Debut Game. Minecraft: Console Editions collected the award for Family.

Award season favourite Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor didn't go away empty handed either, picking up Game Design.

The BAFTA Fellowship was presented to David Braben OBE for his outstanding and exceptional creative contribution to the games industry.
