Dead Rising 4 is in development at Capcom Vancouver and will be announced for Xbox One and Windows 10 at E3, This Gen Gaming has learned.

The game is said to be a complete remake of the first game, only now set during Christmas. Four-player co-op has been added, and players are now able to venture into the areas surrounding the shopping mall.

Expect Frank West to return, alongside characters including Chuck, Nick and Annie.

TGN also believes Capcom Vancouver has ditched its internal game engine in favour of working on Unreal Engine 4.
