There is a lot of speculation about the next Dead By Daylight licensed killer. This is the antagonist that is set to arrive in March, and they will be the star of a paragraph meaning there will not be an accompanying survivor or map. While BeHaviour hasn’t revealed the upcoming DBD collaboration, there is speculation that the next Dead By Daylight licensed killer could be a recent horror icon from Blumhouse.
DBD fans have a lot happening during October. Players can get one million Bloodpoints following update 8.3.0, and you can also get an extra 250,000 Bloodpoints from the most recent codes. In addition, DBD Day is on the way, and this event will have exclusive rewards to unlock in conjunction with this year’s Halloween event.
Once Halloween is over, we will move to Chapter 34. Leaks have possibly revealed the Chapter 34 killer, meanwhile, the next licensed villain still remains a mystery. Nothing definitive has leaked, and recent speculation from the Dead By Daylight community suggests it could be a crossover with Blumhouse.
Next Dead By Daylight licensed killer could M3GHAN
Dead By Daylight YouTuber, The King, recently conducted their yearly interview with game director and Head of Partnerships at BeHaviour Interactive, Mathieu Cote. During this interview, Cote discussed the possibilities for Jason as a killer, while claiming that a Friday the 13th chapter is now more likely than before.
However, despite saying “the door is wide open” for Friday the 13th, it’s unlikely that Jason is the next licensed killer for March. This is because the killer has been described as “out of the box” and someone the community may “b***h” about.
Seeing as Jason would be universally adored, the belief is that the killer is someone else from a more niche franchise. Fans have personally guessed that the killer could be Kayako from The Grudge because of supposed clues from RuthlessLeaks.
However, ignoring Ruthless’ supposed hints, The King believes the licensed killer might be from Blumhouse. Responding to renowned leaker, Dvveet, The King said, “Before the interview, I thought it was 1000% Jason for March. Now I swapped gears, and my guess is M3GAN!”
As for why it could be M3GAN, it’s because during the interview Cote discussed a great relationship between BeHaviour and Blumhouse. BeHaviour Interactive is also partnering with Blumhouse to make a Dead By Daylight movie, so a collaboration between the pair in-game would make sense.
M3GAN also makes more sense as a solo killer because there’s no iconic survivor or map that she could add. During the interview, Cote also said that the next licensed killer doesn’t reinvent the wheel similar to Dracula or Veracna, so that’s to take into consideration, too.
While M3GAN is the guess, it could be another horror movie villain from Blumhouse. These are just purely guesses, but maybe Mr. Boogie from Sinister or the lipstick-face demon from Insidious.
Remember that this is purely speculation rather than a leak. Right now the most prominent guesses are Kayako and M3GHAN, and either one would be a logical choice.
