Dead By Daylight fans have a lot to anticipate for next year. BeHaviour has revealed some of the upcoming new content for the dawn of the new year, and we also know we are getting a chapter with Five Nights At Freddy’s. While FNAF has been begged for over several years, players might have uncovered a licensed DBD chapter that would easily be BeHaviour’s wildest yet.

As part of BeHaviour’s Doomed Course livestream, they revealed the December 2024 roadmap, along with plans for January including an insane collaboration with the famous Junji Ito. There were no teases for the final licensed killer of Year 9 set to arrive in March, but yesterday’s stream was fantastic nonetheless.

While the reveal of DBD x Junji Ito was incredible, it’s not the only amazing crossover happening next year. We officially know we are gettingFive Nights At Freddy’s in Dead By Daylight, but it’s also possible we might be getting a flippin’ dinosaur as a killer.

Dead By Daylight might have uncovered Jurassic Park chapter

Dead By Daylight leaker, RuthlessLeaks, has been teasing another cryptic hint on X and in the DBDLeaks Discord. They recently seemed to tease more Resident Evil content is coming, albeit not soon, and now they appear to be teasing the chapter for August next year.

The tease from Ruthless is simply a repeat of the message “201.3”. There’s no other hints or nudges from the leaker, so this is all the community has had to decipher.

On the LeaksDBD subreddit, fans believe “201.3” is possibly teasing a Jurassic Park chapter. This is because the Jurassic Period extends from 201.3 million to 145 million years ago.

A Jurassic Park chapter would be absolutely insane. A Tyrannosaurus as the killer would be unlike anything else in DBD, and there are so many possibilities for a new map. The choice of survivor isn’t as obvious, but we’d take a T-Rex killer in a heartbeat.

While some may feel Jurassic Park isn’t horror, BeHaviour has shown a willingness to step outside the borders of traditional horror in 2024 with chapters involving Dungeons and Dragons as well as Tomb Raider.

Jurassic Park is the popular guess because of the Jurassic Period, along with the fact there is another Jurassic World movie coming out July next year named Jurassic World Rebirth. However, there are guesses other than just JP.

In addition to Jurassic Park, some have guessed that it might be Dino Crisis because “201.3” is a reference to the age of dinosaurs and BeHaviour has collaborated with Capcom before so a partnership is already in place between the two companies.

Of course, whether you lean towards Jurassic Park or Dino Crisis, neither is official and is merely speculation. Ruthless hasn’t even stated if the community is right about either assumption. As for Ruthless, they did accurately leak details about the Chapter 34 killer being female and having a pet companion. They were wrong about Perfect Blue, but they were right in regard to leaking an anime/manga horror crossover was in the works.
