Dead By Daylight has had a lot of great crossovers in the past, and there will be plenty more in the future. So far horror icons such as Leatherface, Freddy Kreuger, Michael Myers, and many more have stepped into the fog, and there are a lot of people who are hoping Art the Clown will join them. Art the Clown is quickly becoming a horror icon in modern times, and there is a chance that a DBD x Terrifier chapter could happen in the future.

As for what is official, the Chapter 34 PTB release date is set for November, and it will introduce an original killer. We also have an FNAF chapter arriving in Year 10. Before Year 10 starts, we are getting a mysterious licensed killer in March, and they have been described as “out of the box” and possibly a controversial choice.

The arrival of Five Nights At Freddy’s in 2025 is massive as it’s a collaboration Dead By Daylight fans have been clamouring for years. A lot of the community also desire Jason Voorhess, and there are plenty of calls for Pennywise. While Pennywise from IT would be great, another fantastic killer clown would be Art from the brutal Terrifier movies.

Why Dead By Daylight x Terrifier chapter is possible

Although Art the Clown has been around since 2008, the Terrifier series began in 2016. It started off with a very small budget of just $35,000, which escalated to $250,000 for Terrifier 2, and the recently released Terrifier 3 had a budget of $2,000,000.

Every time the movies made an incredible profit, and it feels that the series is continually getting bigger and more mainstream. Terrifier 3 is already a huge success with an $18 million dollar opening and number one placement in the box office.

In regard to Dead By Daylight, there is no chapter planned and it’s very unlikely there will be one for Year 10. However, Terrifier 3 is not the end of the series, and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if a Dead By Daylight x Terrifier chapter happens in the future.

For starters, BeHaviour Interactive has acknowledged the Terrifier series. It is included in the most recent license survey asking players what franchise they would most like to see in DBD, and game director and head of partnerships at BeHaviour Interactive, Mathieu Cote, has briefly discussed the possibility of a crossover in the past.

Back in 2023, comicbook asked Mathieu Cote if BeHaviour is aware of clamour surrounding Art the clown, and the game director responded, “Yeah, I’ve seen it. I think it’s a really interesting character”. However, although “interesting,” Cote also said “I don’t want to commit to anything” when pressed on if a collaboration could happen.

In addition to BeHaviour, people involved with the Terrifier series have made it known they would love Art to be part of DBD. In 2022, Terrifier 2 producer, Steve Barton, reached out to Mathieu Cote on Twitter about the chances of a crossover happening.

While in the past the series was possibly too niche, that’s not the case anymore as it’s evidently become bigger and more mainstream. Not only has Terrifier 3 debuted at number one in the box office, Art the Clown has also recently joined the biggest video game franchise of all time, Call of Duty.

Aside from the possibilities of it happening, a Terrifier chapter could also be perfect for Dead By Daylight. Art the Clown is a vicious bad guy with an iconic look and unique mannerisms, and Sienna would be the perfect survivor to Art as a killer.

Again, a Terrifier chapter isn’t planned and is unlikely for Year 10, but maybe it will happen in the future around the time of Terrifier 4.
