Control developer Remedy has snapped up Martin Stig Andersen and Petri Alanko to score its upcoming sci-fi-flavoured action title.

BAFTA-nominated Alanko is no stranger to working with Remedy, having previously worked his magic on Alan Wake and Quantum Break. Andersen, meanwhile, has previously cut his teeth on the likes of INSIDE and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. For Control, Remedy is promising an ‘unique blend of orchestral and electronic arrangements.’ Sounds like a winner!

Speaking on the news, Mikael Kasurinen, Control’s game director, commented:

'I couldn't imagine a better match for Control than Petri Alanko and Martin Stig Andersen. Martin's deep and moody style combined with the unique energy of Petri Alanko elevates the end result into something special.'

'While both capture the tone of the experience, they approach it from different perspectives, complementing each other beautifully.'

Control will be unleashing its telekinetic-fused antics on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One from August 27.
