The Evil Within black bars, which give the horror game a cinematic presentation and were designed to be part of the game, can now be turned off for a full-screen experience, Bethesda has announced.

Download the June Title Update to enable the full screen option on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The update has also rebalanced Casual difficulty to be more forgiving to players by offering increased amounts of ammo and introducing some adjustments to the health bar.

The update is out now on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
