The 3DS remake of classic 2D platformer, Cave Story, is to hit the US on June 28, Siliconera reports. The game is in development at Nicalis and will be published in the US by NIS America.
Cave Story 3D is a three dimensional remake of the original, with new character designs and brand new content. The 3DS version will be the game’s first retail release, with all previous versions being download only.
No UK release for Cave Story 3D has been confirmed.
