Queen guitarist Brian May has told the BBC that talks are “going on behind the scenes” regarding a Queen specific version of MTV’s Rock Band franchise.
“Yes we’re into it,” he said. “I think it may happen.”
May also revealed his pleasure at featuring in the upcoming LEGO Rock Band.
“It’s the ultimate accolade, to be portrayed in LEGO,” he said. “My dreams are all fulfilled now.”
Queen isn’t entirely new to the world of video games. In 1998 EA released Queen: The eYe, an arena-based combat game (think Arnie’s Running Man) that flopped, and more recently the band’s music featured in SingStar Queen.
