Ubisoft has today announced that its upcoming WWII aerial combat title, Blazing Angels 2, will feature exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 when it launches in the summer.

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII sees players leading Operation Wildcard, an undercover and elite squad of pilots created by the American government. The player’s mission is to sabotage and destroy the Third Reich’s evil plans to create a weapon of mass destruction.

The PS3 version includes innovative use of the Sixaxis controller, offering players a new sensation of flight motion translating into in-game movement of the plane.

Also unique to the PS3 game is a multiplayer racing mode in which player race round circuits in a race to the finish.

All versions of Blazing Angels 2 will feature fully rendered environments and 3D aircraft designed for next-gen systems, improved depth of field, plus new sound and visual effects.

We’re also promised multiplayer for up to fifteen players, in free-for-all, co-op and squad-based missions.

Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII is currently scheduled for release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 21, 2007.
