Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has been patched on PS3 to remedy lock ups some players were experiencing. However, is appears many gamers are still running into problems.

Freezing has been plaguing some users since launch, specifically when entering a public multiplayer lobby.

“A patch has been released to fix the lock-up/freeze issues affecting Call of Duty: Black Ops II online gameplay on PlayStation 3. However, we are aware that some customers are still experiencing PS3 lock-ups after installing the patch and we are doing everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible,” read an update on the issue by Activision.

The update will install when you next load up Black Ops 2 and sign in.
