Thankfully the minimum spec PC is a modest beast, though you will still require 8GB of memory and a powerful i5 CPU or equivalent. The GPU is likely to be no worry for PC gamers, with only a Radeon 7850 or ancient GeForce GTX 660 needed to play.

"The Frostbite version used in Battlefield 1 is the most optimized yet, enabling us to push more content than we've ever done before," commented Per-Olof Romell, DICE Director of Technology. "Lots of improvement to the network code and servers simulating at 60Hz makes it the most solid Battlefield ever."
