Baldur’s Gate 3 mod lets you spawn endless screaming dwarves to launch at your enemies

One of the best features in Larian Studio’s Baldur’s Gate 3 is the ability to pick up smaller characters and launch them across the map. One mod has taken this mechanic and turned it into a major part of the game, allowing players to spawn smaller races to launch as screaming weapons.

Dubbed “Dwarf Throwing”, modder GabeCamomescro has created the simple mod to make better use of the game’s throwing mechanic. Instead of having to find and launch a character, players can now drink a potion to summon the throwable entity of their choice. 

With dwarves, goblins, halflings, and gnomes to choose from, as well as Nico the Insane, you’ll be able to instantly spawn the weapon of your choice and launch them across the environment as a living weapon. 

The modder has also included another potion that can be used to create a bigger explosion once the entity hits its target. If you want a bigger bang, the option is there. 

It’s worth noting that any creatures spawned in this manner will not become a party member to assist in combat. You won’t be able to quickly spawn an army of goblins to sic on your foes. Instead, you’ll only be able to use them as effective ranged weapons. 

Alongside being throwable, GabeCamomescro has made sure that the spawned halflings scream as they’re being launched across the air for added comedy. However, Nico the Insane will not let out a peep as he remains steadfast in the face of death.
