theHunter: Call of the Wild, a hunting game from Expanse World and Just Cause creator Avalanche Studios, has been confirmed for release on PS4 and Xbox One. The game launched for PC back in February.
“To make sure their introduction to the wild is as smooth and enjoyable as it can be, we have created a dedicated in-house team to develop theHunter: Call of the Wild for consoles,” explains Avalanche. “The PC team will keep developing the version you’ve all been enjoying. We hope that bringing the wild to a larger audience will allow us to do even more cool stuff long-term.”
The game promise to deliver the “most immersive hunting experience ever created” with players placed into a 50-square mile open world filled with deer, bison, birds, critters and insects.
Specific details of the console edition will be announced soon.
