Back in August, Final Fantasy XV held a special in-game crossover event with the Assassin’s Creed series that saw Noctis and his friends donning hoods and taking part in an Assassin’s Festival. Now that the latter series’ latest is actually out, Assassin’s Creed Origins is paying back the favour in kind as teased a couple of weeks ago.

As per the announcement on the Assassin’s Creed Blog, a new surprise quest has gone live in the game’s Giza region. For obvious spoilery reasons, we’re not given too much detail on the specifics of the mission, except that a quest marker should pop up once you take Bayek to that region to help you begin the crossover quest.

Players who complete the quest will be granted access to an ‘ultimate gift from the gods’ reward, which includes the chocobo-themed steed you can see in the image at the top of the article. There’s no date as to when or if this event will end, but it should be live in the game as of right now.

Have at it!
