Assassin’s Creed Nexus, a virtual reality installment in the stealth-heavy, action-packed Ubisoft series, has now been announced during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase. Although details on the upcoming entry are sparse at the time of writing, it has been revealed that more details will be made available once the Ubisoft Forward event goes live on June 12.

However, if the game is based on the design of its predecessors, we can most likely expect missions that focus on sneaky eliminations and combat that takes place on rooftops and busy streets. Keep in mind that the game should be released within the next 12 months on Meta Quest 2. Additionally, with the Meta Quest 3 release date approaching, we can also expect it to be available on the upcoming VR system as well.

This is a developing story and we’ll have more to follow soon.
