Apple will launch what is being dubbed the iPad mini this autumn, according to a report by iMore.
The shrunken tablet is said to be identical to the current 9.7-inch iPad, only with a 7-inch screen. This means the 1048×1536 resolution will provide a 365ppi.
The iPad mini will be sold only in an 8GB configuration and could retail for $200-$250 (that’s around £150).
Apple is yet to comment.
