Anyone who remembers the original Nidhogg will recall its minimalist artstyle and exhilarating multiplayer gameplay. While Nidhogg 2 looks to have the latter, it definitely has a more detailed aesthetic to the original.
During E3, developer Messhof sat down with PlayStation to show off Nidhogg 2 and, as you’ll see from the near 20 minute demo, the artstyle is drastically different from the first game. The changes in the sequel  also include a number of new weapons, a few new attacks like slide tackling, and players can now kick weapons out of their rival’s hands.
