We saw the new characters and their signatures W-Engines, and now there is more info about how they will perform.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 news W-Engine details

During the ZZZ 1.1 special live program that showcases the upcoming patch content, we saw three new characters and three new W-Engines that will be added to Zenless Zone Zero when the update goes live. We know officially that there are three new W-Engines, called the Ice-Jade Teapot, Sharpened Stinger, and Peacekeeper Specialized.

The first two are S-Rank and are the signature weapons for Qingyi and Jane Doe, while the third W-Engine is an A-Rank and is made for Seth Lowell. The weapons have been revealed, but a recent leak might shed some light on their stats and the effects of each one. Once again, the stats and the passive effects are leaked information from the Hakush.in website, which is an unofficial database for ZZZ and other gacha games.

Ice-Jade Teapot (S-Rank)

The Ice-Jade Teapot will be the signature W-Engine for the limited S-Rank Agent Qingyi. It will be a Stun type W-Engine, to match her playstyle, meaning any Stun character can use it. Since this can only be obtained from the W-Engine exclusive signal search, it is best given to Qingyi if you pull for her. This W-Engine will be available during the first phase of patch 1.1, running alongside Qingyi’s Signal Search banner when the patch goes live.

As per the leaks, the passive effect is as follows: “When a Basic Attack hits an enemy, gain 1 stack of Tea-riffic. Each stack of Tea-riffic increases the user’s Impact by 0.7%, stacking up to 30 times, and lasting for 8s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Upon acquiring Tea-riffic, if the equipper possesses stacks of Tea-riffic greater than or equal to 15, all squad members’ DMG is increased by 20% for 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack”.

Sharpened Stinger (S-Rank)

The Sharpened Stinger is the signature W-Engine for S-Rank Agent Jane Doe. As with Qingyi and the Ice-Jade Teapot, this Signal Search will be available during phase two of patch 1.1, which will run alongside Jane’s banner. This weapon matches Jane’s Anomaly type, making it her best-in-slot weapon thanks to how it boosts her abilities with its passive.

The passive ability is “Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper’s Physical DMG by 12% for 8s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stacks, the equipper’s Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40%”.

Peacekeeper Specialized (A-Rank)

The third and final W-Engine being added in patch 1.1 is the A-Rank signature weapon for Seth Lowell. Seth is a new A-Rank Agent who will be available with an increased drop rate on the 1.1 Signal Search banners. This weapon is a Defense W-Engine, made to match Seth’s abilities. The passive effect, as per Hakush.in, reads: “While Shielded, the equipper’s Energy Regen increases by 0.4/s. The Anomaly Buildup accumulated by EX Special Attacks/Assist Follow-Ups increase by 36%/36%”.
