Kalypso Media Digital and Enigma Software’s Alien Spidy, an action-platformer for PC and Xbox LIVE Arcade, has been given a March 20 release date.

The game sees you playing as an alien spider who has crash landed on Earth while looking for his friend Virgi. According to the game’s makers, Alien Spidy mixes traditional side-scrolling gameplay with physical puzzles.

“Alien Spidy is a new take on the classic side-scroller, but with all sorts of modern twists,” said Jonathan Hales, Managing Director, Kalypso Media Digital. “The game is filled with colorful characters, beautiful animations, and just the right balance of pick-up-and-play accessibility and ramps up the challenge in later levels, making it perfect for all types of gamers.”

Alien Spidy will cost £7.99 on PC and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360.
