Crazy Taxi, the classic arcade racing game from 1999, is now available for free on your mobile devices. A free to play version has just been released as free-to-play on iOS and Android. It was previously priced at £4.99. Just search for Crazy Taxi Classic.
The free version now has ad supports (featuring quite a lot of ads, if we’re honest), but you can open the menu and hear ‘Let’s have some fun with Crazy Taxi!’ without seeing any ads. And wasn’t that what we were missing all along?
You can also recreate the experience by getting in an unlicensed cab and slamming on The Offspring, but we do not recommend that.Â
Crazy Taxi going f2p is a celebration for the imminent release of Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire, another Crazy Taxi mobile game which will probably have a lot more in-app purchases.
