The 3DS will be getting a firmware update this week, according to Satoru Iwata.
The Nintendo president revealed the news at the Nintendo Direct conference in Japan, MCV reports. The new update is designed to address complaints that the 3DS Home tends to get cluttered easily.
From Wednesday 26th users will be able to create and name folders on the Home page, placing up to 60 apps inside.
3DS owners are currently celebrating last week’s announcement of New Super Mario Brothers 2, now due for release in August.
