Microsoft has revealed the first 13 original Xbox games that’ll be backwards compatible for Xbox One. These games will all be available to play, and purchase from the Xbox Marketplace, from October 24. Each of the titles now run at 1080p, and have a better frame rate and faster loading times than they launched with.

Once they go live tomorrow, players will be able to boot uptheir Xbox One, and then buy and download a few of the original Xbox titles such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Crimson Skies, Ninja Gaiden Black and many more. I’m a little disappointed there’s no Rallisport Challenge 2, that was an excellent game.

If you’ve still got the original disc for any of the games then you can just stick that in your Xbox One and you’ll be able to play it. If you bought it digitally, that’ll work also. If you don’t have either of these you’ll be able to get each game for less than a tenner, which isn’t too bad.

The full list of original Xbox games that’ll be available from tomorrow are:

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
  • Ninja Gaiden Black
  • Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
  • Fuzion Frenzy
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • Psychonauts
  • Dead to Rights
  • Black
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • Sid Meier’s Pirates!
  • Red Faction II
  • BloodRayne 2
  • The King of Fighters Neowave
