The next Tomb Raider movie will hit theatres on March 16, 2018, Variety reports.
The film will see Swedish actress Alicia Vikander step into the boots of Lara Croft, who you’ll probably know from her starring role as android Ava in last year’s Ex Machina.
The movie is believed to be a reboot of the franchise and not a sequel to the previous two Tomb Raider films starring Angelina Jolie.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life released in 2001 and 2003 respectively but weren’t particularly well received by critics, scoring a 33 and 43 Metacritic rating.
The most recent game, meanwhile, Rise of the Tomb Raider, is due to hit PS4 later this year.
