Can You Move The XP Bar Manually?

Unfortunately, you cannot move the XP bar from the game’s settings. The new update makes it impossible for this component of the user interface to be dragged around. The XP and reputation bar is stuck in place even after you reach level 60, so you will have to look for some workarounds if you are not ready to give up yet.

Firstly, you can try hiding this bar by using the game’s settings. All you have to do is to make sure that you disable the settings for any add-ons that will influence the decision you are taking now. Some third-party apps will have control over your interface, so it’s best to deactivate them if you want to completely remove the XP bar.

Continue by opening your Reputation menu. You can do this by pressing the U key by default, but it will be different if you changed your keyboard settings. Select a random reputation and check the “Show as experience bar” setting. This choice will not be permanent, because the actual intent is to disable this setting. Uncheck the reputation you just selected, and you are good to go.

This change will help you hide your reputation bar and you don’t need the help of any add-ons. However, this will only hide the bar and not let you drag it around your screen. If that is what you desire, proceed to the next section.

Final Thoughts

Blizzard became popular through their World of Warcraft game which was released 18 years ago. Since then, the player base grew continuously and people all over the world started playing this game together. With so many players, there are lots of different preferences and Blizzard listened to them.

As new updates were released, the demand was met and users were satisfied with the bug fixes and changes they requested. But for some reason, Blizzard still doesn’t let you move the XP bar around. While you have the option to disable it from the game’s settings, you still cannot drag it around.

Luckily, third-party apps and add-ons developed by players will help you solve this problem. Bartender 4 is the best for this purpose, but you can always look for another solution if this one is not ideal for you.
