Tears of the Kingdom Marbled Gohma boss guide

Walking through the drawbridge of the Fire Temple, you’ll enter a large, circular chamber, with a cluster of rocks in the ceiling. Fire Yunobo at the curved wall of the chamber to roll him onto the ceiling and destroy the rocks. This will reveal Marbled Gohma, who will jump down and begin the fight.

Gohma will fire three marbled rocks at you, which will explode after a time. You can smash these with Yunobo, but you can also just run away from these rocks, as the timer is pretty lengthy. Once you’ve got away, fire Yunobo at Gohma’s legs. These are made of the same marbled rock, and will shatter. You’ll need to break two of its legs before it collapses to the floor.

Climb onto Gohma’s back, and start hitting its eye with a melee weapon. Don’t take too long, as once it recovers it will fling you off, dealing some sizable damage. Once it starts shaking, jump away. Repeat this process a few times until Gohma’s HP reaches half, where it will enter its second phase.

In its second phase, it will fire the same marbled rocks, but this time will encircle you with them. Use Yunobo to break out, or if its attack is on cooldown, you can also climb over, but you’ll have to be quick about it.

In this phase, Gohma moves onto the ceiling. You still need to break its legs, this time by rolling Yunobo up the walls, as you did before the fight. Yunobo fires in a straight line, so line up your shot as if Gohma was on the ground, and you’ll be able to hit Gohma on the ceiling without too much problem. It only takes one hit to knock it down this time, but be careful, as you can take damage from Gohma falling on you.

Climb Gohma’s body again and start damaging its eye. Eventually, it will throw you off again and climb back onto the ceiling. Simply repeat the process of knocking it off and hitting the eye until it’s defeated. You’ll receive a Heart Container and the ability to use Yunobo’s attack anywhere.
