Fans are looking forward to sharpening their Jedi skills in combat – asking the question is there a Star Wars Jedi Survivor battle arena?

The combat in the Star Wars games from Respawn Entertainment has been likened to Dark Souls – and while it’s not quite as difficult as those games, given the number and range of enemies to slay, bosses to take down such as Vashtan Wolfe and Jedi skills to master like how to throw your lightsaber and how to parry, it’s no wonder why fans are interested to know if there’s somewhere they can sharpen their skills between the game’s narrative beats in some kind of battle arena.

Here then, is what we know about whether Star Wars Jedi Survivor features a battle arena.

Is there a Star Wars Jedi Survivor battle arena?

At launch, there is no battle arena mode in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Fans looking to perfect their combat prowess will – at the present time – have to settle for doing so within the game’s story structure.

The previous game, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order – did get a special Battle Arena mode in a post-launch free update that came – rather aptly – on Star Wars Day in 2020, some six months after the game’s initial release. This special Battle Arena mode allowed Cal to head to any Meditation Point, and choose from a number of challenges in different combat arenas based on environments from the main game.

It was a fun and challenging horde-mode type affair, and players could also earn unique cosmetic rewards for completing these challenges. It was very popular with fans, which is why it’s currently a shame there has been no announcement of a similar mode in the sequel. A number of features that were added in post-launch patches to Fallen Order – including Photo Mode and New Game Plus – have been included in Jedi Survivor at launch, which does make the omission of a battle arena more disappointing.

Still, there is (A New?) hope then, that a battle arena mode could be added to the game in a post-launch patch. If such one is announced and added, we’ll let you know – although at the time of writing neither EA nor Respawn have confirmed any plans.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
