If you’re over in Zaton and in need of some quick cash, Owl, the trader over in the Sultansk camp, offers a trio of side missions tidily arranged under Business with Owl quest. Among the three optional missions, there is one titled ‘Find a missing person’, which tasks you with tracking down one of the Owl’s most trusted men. Several clues have been left by informants around Zaton and it’s your job to follow them. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to complete the Business with Owl informer quest in Stalker 2.
Find out what happened to Owl’s informer
As soon as you accept the quest, you’ll see four quest markers appear on the map, all located in the east of the Zaton region. You’ll need to visit all four to gather clues, then bring your findings back to Owl.

Location 1
The first is northwest of the Vent point of interest. Head over to the marker roughly 400 meters southeast of Sultansk. You’ll come across a small stalker campfire next to a rusty old truck and a large boulder. Go to the western side of the boulder and you’ll spot a metal plate leaning against it. Behind the metal is a bag. Loot it to get Owl’s Agent’s PDA.

Location 2
Make your way over to the second marker at the Canning Factory point of interest, west of Icarus, the Ward base. The marker will lead you to a loading yard with several bodies. Loot the body of Fil Viking to get a Document Scrap tied to Owl’s agent.

Location 3
The third location is at the Railway Maintenance Facility in the northwest of Zaton, just southeast of the Sand Mine. Once you get there, be on your guard as several Bloodsuckers lurk around the area. Head for the marker, which points you to a blue, hulking repair frame at the center of the yard. On the tracks below, you’ll find the body of Kolyan Inker (look out for an X on your HUD compass to find it) lying on the western most of the two tracks. Loot the body to get the Bloodstained Note. Getting the note will spawn several enemies. Either fight them off or run out of the facility.

Location 4
The final location is north of the Icarus point of interest. The marker will lead you to a small brick building and a courtyard full of tanks and pipes. On the north side of the building is a rusty old container. Inside, is a backpack you can loot to get Owl’s Agent’s Secret PDA.
Return to Owl
With all four clues gathered up, head back to Sultansk and talk to Owl, letting him know his informer is dead. Owl hands you 3,000 coupons for completing the Business with Owl quest. Not the most generous reward for running around most of Zaton for the trader.
