A visit to the Flea Market in Garbage will see you bump into a stalker crew led by the smooth-talking Lex the Legend, who is more than happy to impart ‘enlightenment’ and advice of questionable value in exchange for coupons. But, if you not-so-politely ask him to stop and decide to strike a deal, he’ll give you the coordinates of a stash, promising choice loot. In this guide, we walk you through where to find Lex the Legend’s stash location in Stalker 2.

Where to find Lex the Legend’s stash location in Stalker 2

To find Lex the Legend’s stash, you’ll need to travel west from the Flea Market to a stash marker called Legendary Stash, which appears on your map after you talk to Lex. Per the blurb on the map, Lex tossed a backpack on the roof of a caterpillar tractor. Apparently, the artifacts inside are worth a tidy haul of coupons.

Head over to the map marker and you’ll spot the big yellow tractor. Jump onto the front, then to the roof to find Lex’s stash. Inside is a broken PTM and a note called The Legend’s Advice, which, unsurprisingly, contains another bit of stalker advice: ‘Don’t trust the loudmouths promising dope loot.’

Loot the stash then make your way back to the Flea Market. Once you get there, Lex and his gang are nowhere to be found. They seemingly made a quick exit after giving you the coordinates to the shoddy stash. You will, however, find a small note on a makeshift crate seat next to the fire pit called Note to the Legend. Turns out Lex the Legend goes by another name, Snag. He was also spotted by a streetcar in the Swamp, which refers to the Swamp Tram point of interest in the east of Zaton. If you visit, you can confront Lex about his swindling.

If you kill him, you can loot his PDA. It reveals he’s been running an elaborate scam and is in business with Varan, which you’ll need to deal with as part of the King of the Hill main story mission. He lures novice stalkers with advice, sends them to dangerous areas where they will likely die, then loots their bodies. You’ll come across several of these duped stalkers throughout the game, including the following:

  • Vova Amalgam – Electric Field, Garbage
  • Kostya Bedlam – East of the Depot, Garbage

From what we can tell, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere you can loot all the gear Lex has stolen from other stalkers, but we’ll update this guide if and when we come across anything.
