As part of the A Big Score side mission, Zakhar tasks you with playing debt collector over in an abandoned car park south of the Plant Boiler Station in the Garbage region. When you link up with his crew, things don’t quite go to plan and it turns out it’s all a set-up to bleed you for every coupon you’ve got. If you choose to attack the crew and clear them out then agree to help Akopyan, you’ll start the Deceive the Deceiver side mission and get a fresh objective. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to lure Zakhar away from the Slag Heap.
How to lure Zakhar out from the Slag Heap
To lure Zakhar away from the Slag Heap, you’ll need to pick up Sashko Cheery’s gun, known as the Spitter, in the car park and bring it back to Zakhar. To do this, make sure you choose to attack the crew when they try to rob you. Once they are all dead, talk to Akopyan and bandage him up. Agree to help him out.

Loot Sashko’s body for his Spitter gun. Captured by VideoGamer
Don’t sell or drop the Spitter until you’ve spoken to Zakhar. Captured by VideoGamer
Before going back to Slag Heap, head over to Sashko Cheery’s body. He’s the man wearing the body armor that speaks to you when you first arrive. On his body, you’ll find a gun called the Spitter. Loot it and tick off the new ‘Take Sashko Cheery’s gun’ objective. Whatever you do, don’t get rid of the gun or sell it.
Make your way back to Slag Heap and talk to Zakhar. Select the “[Show Spitter] Akopyan says hi” dialogue option to tick off the ‘lure Zakhar away from the Slag Heap’. He’s in a bit of a state after being found out and asks you to get him safely to one of his stashes out in the wild.
Should you kill Zakhar or not?
You can kill Zakhar at his stash, escort him to his crew, or do both. Captured by VideoGamer

After killing Zakhar, go to Akopyan for a double reward. Captured by VideoGamer
Select “Let’s go” and follow Zakhar to the red containers just outside of the Slag Heap. You can kill him at this point and return to Akopyan to get a reward of 3,374 coupons. Alternatively, and this is the best option in our opinion, escort him further down the hill to meet up with his crew. Wait to receive a 3,374 coupons reward, then kill Zakhar and his two goons. Go to Akopyan in Slag Heap to get another 3,374 coupon reward.
