Pokémon gamers worldwide are trying to beat the Open Sky Titan in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Still, only a few of them are successful. The sheer difficulty level of this Titan fight is enough to test even the most seasoned Pokémon trainer.

In both of the entries of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Open Sky Titan is a larger version of Bombirdier, which is a Flying/Dark-type Pokémon. Before tackling this titan, be sure to follow our tips below to give yourself then best chance against it.

What Is the Open Sky Titan in Scarlet and Violet?

The Bombirdier or Open Sky Titan is one of five Titan Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. To complete the Path of Legends, you’ll need to find and beat this powerful opponent.

Bombirdier has a dual Flying/Dark-type, but this enormous Titan comes with one major weakness which is electric-type moves.

Apart from that, the Open Sky Titan is only level 25 which makes it relatively easier to beat him if you grind some levels beforehand.

Similar to the fight with Quaking Earth Titan, Open Sky Titan will retreat back to the mountain after an initial round of fight when it receives excessive damage.

You will need to find him again for a second round but be careful, as this time he will be even stronger. It will feast on the Herba Mystica, and receive a great power boost which will increase all its stats, and restore its health back to full.

How to find the Open Sky Titan

A node indicating the location of the Titan can be found on the West Province, Area One side of the Rotom Map. When you click on the node, an arrow pointing in the direction of the Titan will show on your overworld compass.

At the peak of Area One’s mountain is the location where you’ll find the Open Sky Titan. As you start to approach this mountain, large rocks will begin to roll down the mountain. Avoid the rocks and take on Bombirdier, the Open Sky Titan.

Reaching Up To Level 19

The easiest way to defeat Open Sky Titan is by leveling up to 19 and then you can defeat the Open Sky Titan without using any special moves. You will not need a game plan or need to apply any strategy for this to work. Just play this like a normal fight and you will be strong enough to succeed.

Using Rock And Electric Moves

Since Open Sky Titan is a Flying-type pokemon, it is more susceptible to damage by Electric and Rock-type moves. Make sure to use them in combination to deal a quick defeat to the Open Sky Titan. Ice and Fairy moves can also be used to deal great damage.

Pokemon To Avoid

Avoid using fire and flying type pokemon as they will receive more damage when compared to other types of Pokemon. Grass-type pokemon also won’t provide you any advantage.

Conclusion

After defeating the Open Sky Titan remember that you will be rewarded with Herba Mystica and you can feed this to either Koraidon or Miraidon to make them swim in the water.

That’s all you needed to defeat this flying titan of a boss battle. So get out there and start winning your way to the Path of Legends.
