Dolphin Finizen Location In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
Dolphin Finizen is a Water Type Pokemon that can be discovered pretty early in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet almost anywhere in the ocean. However, if you still haven’t come across one yet, we recommend marking your HUD and exploring some common spots where it’s sighted.
The most common spawn spot of Finizen is the beach just south of Levincia City in East Province (Area Three). You can locate Finizen near the shore of the beach at any time of the day. However, if the dolphin doesn’t spawn for you, simply reload the area or come back another time to try your luck.
Since Finizen isn’t a rare spawn, you are usually able to find it in just a few tries. Moreover, you should also bear in mind that you need to be at least level 23 to catch it.
An alternative hangout spot of Finizen is the Southern Paldean Sea in South Province (Area One). However, this method requires you to unlock the swimming ability of Koraidon or Miraidon, which, in turn, requires defeating the Open Sky Titan.

How To Evolve Finizen To Palafin
Finizen evolves into Palafin, a much stronger Dolphin, however, this evolution can be extremely obscure. The best part is, however, that you don’t require any special items to enable Finizen’s evolution. All you need to do is reach level 38 in the Union Circle multiplayer mode, and its evolution into Palafin will take place.
To activate the Union Circle mode, the games require you to visit a Pokemon Center. You can do so by standing on the Union Circle panel and entering a multiplayer lobby. This way, you can join a random player’s world or invite someone into yours. You can also share the Link Code given in the bottom-left corner of the multiplayer lobby to invite a friend.

If you’re still unsatisfied by the buff Finizen gains after being evolved into Palafin, you can unlock its Hero Form for better stats. It is much stronger than the base form of Palafin, commonly known as the Zero Form. You’d be glad to know that whenever you jump into a battle with Palafin, you can simply use its move, Flip Turn, to quickly transform the Pokemon into its Hero Form.
