Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has finally been released and fans all over the world are starting their journey through the new Paldea region. Devoted followers of the Pokemon franchise are now able to explore the latest entries in Nintendo’s widely popular franchise.

Scarlet and Violet will be the first Pokémon game to support open play between the two versions via cooperative gameplay – hence why millions of players had been itching to dive into the stunning world of Paldea. Reviews for the most recent installments have also been made public – with many praising its ambition, but citing some performance issues.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet now released
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is finally here after Nintendo released it on Friday 18th November 2022 for a majority of regions. However, due to time differences, the West Coast technically saw the game go live earlier on November 17.
As for the exact release time, both Pokémon Scarlet and Violet followed the same procedure as previous Nintendo Switch games, which have both digital and physical releases. The digital version was made playable first at 9pm PST on Thursday 17th November, which is Friday November 18th 12am GMT (UK) and 12am CEST for Europe.

Remember, Pokémon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet will roughly need 10GB each, so 20GB if you have both versions of the game. Therefore make sure you have enough storage and know how to download the game from the eShop.
