Need to know how to evolve your Rhyrdon into a Rhyperior in the Pokémon Indigo Disk DLC? Evolving Pokémon is a great way to build your team and get stronger, but it’s not always as easy as leveling the Pokémon up.
Since there are over 200 Pokémon to catch in the Indigo Disk Pokédex, it can take a while to get them all. While you’re journeying across Terarium and completing Blueberry Quests, you will come across plenty of them. But some Pokémon need to be evolved, like Rhyperior. How do you evolve Rhydon into Rhyperior? We’re here to show you how.
How to evolve Rhydon
The only way to evolve Rhydon into a Rhyperior is to trade the Pokémon while it’s holding a Protector item. This is a similar method to many other Pokémon, and unfortunately, it’s the only way to get a Rhyperior.
All you need to do is when you’re ready to evolve Rhydon, head into your inventory and find the Protector item. Select Give to Pokémon and choose Rhydon. The item can’t be used on Rhydon, so just choose to give it to them.
Then, with Rhydon holding the Protector, trade the Pokémon to another player. It will immediately evolve into a Rhyperior. We recommend trading with a friend or someone else looking to evolve their Pokémon through a link trade to be sure that they won’t run off with your newly evolved Rhyperior. Just trade back your Pokémons and you’ll have your Rhyperior.
The only way
Sadly, there are no Rhyperiors that you can find in the wild in Indigo Disk. The only way to get a Rhyperior is to trade Rhydon while it holds the protector, so don’t waste time looking for one in the different biomes of Terarium.
How to get the Protector item
The easiest way to get the Protector evolution item is to buy it from the Blueberry Academy School Store. When you’re on the main floor, head up to the store level. The shopkeeper will sell a variety of items to you, including the Protector.
This item sells for 250 BP, which is standard for evolution items.
If you don’t want to spend your hard-earned Blueberry Points, you can find the Protector in the Savanna Biome in Terarium. You can find them in Pokéballs scattered around the biome. However, it’s much quicker to simply buy it from the shop.
Once you have your Protector, you’re free to give it to your Rhydon and evolve it by trading it.
