There’s no other Pokemon that embodies anger quite like the Mankey family, especially Primeape, who until recently was the final evolution of the line. However, with the addition of Annihilape, the Mankey family’s history has taken a rather dark turn.

Although the Pokedex entry of Annihilape in Pokemon Scarlet states that it “unfettered by the limits of its physical body” by getting too angry, it’s quite clear that Annihilape is what a Primeape becomes when it passes away from getting too angry.

In addition to the cool new form, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have also added a rather interesting move in the game known as Rage Fist, but getting a Pokemon to learn it might be more difficult than expected.

Can I Get Rage Fist TM?

The thing about the move Rage Fist is that there’s no TM or HM associated with it that you could use to learn the move. Additionally, there’s no NPC in the game who teaches a Pokemon of your choosing this move either, like it was with some moves in the older Pokemon games.

Instead, the only way to get Rage Fist is by leveling up your Primeape until it reaches level 35, at which point you’ll get the option to make it forget one move and learn Rage Fist as a replacement.

Although level 35 shouldn’t take too long if you simply grind against wild Pokemon or enemy trainers, you’re still looking at at least a couple of hours of grinding. To quicken it, however, we recommend you use EXP candies.

You can get EXP candies by participating in Tera Raid Battle events, which are ranked using a star system. The higher the star rating of a raid, the better quality EXP candy you can expect when you complete it.

What Does Rage Fist Do

Rage Fist is one of the more unique moves in the Pokemon series, as although it’s a ghost type move with a base power of 50, the more times your Primeape or Annihilape is hit the more the power of the attack increases.

Final Thoughts

Annihilape is one of the best additions in recent Pokemon games. This is because Primeape is a beloved Pokemon since the first time Ash used it in the anime, and to see it getting such a unique form so many years later is great.
