Skiddo, as well as its evolved form, Gogoat, are among the most exclusive Pokemon out there. Apart from Pokemon X/Y, the only games these Pokemon appear in are Pokemon Omega Ruby/ Alpha Saphire, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This goat Pokemon was featured as one of the rideable Pokemon in Pokemon X/Y, and since then amassed a fan following.

Where to Find Skiddo in Pokemon Scarlet?

Thankfully enough, Skiddo is super-easy to find. We clouds list down all the exact areas but that would be overkill.

Apart from the Northern Part of the Region of Paldea, Skiddo can be found almost everywhere. The lower ⅔ of the map is filled with areas where Skiddos run rampant. Skiddo will show up at any time of the day, in singles or in herds. Do note that herds will run away at the sight of you.

Because Skiddo is a grass-type Pokemon, lead with a Bug, Flying, Fire, Ice, or Poison Pokemon. Try not to go with Electric, Grass, Ground, or Water Pokemon, as Skiddo is resistant to all of these types.

However, going with these types can be helpful if your Pokemon are too strong and one-shot Skiddo, as doing resistant attacks on Skiddo will halve the damage that it normally takes.

How to Evolve Skiddo in Pokemon Scarlet?

Skiddo will evolve into a much stronger form, called Gogoat, at level 32. No additional items are required.

Gogoat is basically a larger version of Skiddo, and the stat difference shown down below clearly indicates the difference between the two. There is no Type change upon evolution, as Gogoat is also a Grass-type Pokemon.

Unless you want to catch Skiddo early on in the game, the best way of getting Gogoat is to skip training a Skiddo until it evolves, and directly catch a Gogoat. These larger goats are found grazing the entire northern section of the map, the exact region where Skiddos cannot be found.
