Where to find Meowth in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Classified as a very common spawn, rest assured you won’t have to spend much time to catch Meowth. Meowth usually hides and lurks around Grass, Town, and Mine biomes. Primarily, you can find level 14 to 32 pokemons in West Province Area Two, Area Three, and East Province Area Three. Alternatively, trainers can also acquire Meowth in Tera Raids.

When battling Meowth, there are several things you should keep in mind. This Scratch Cat Pokémon right here is vulnerable to Fighting-type attacks. Make sure not to knock it out though as it will instantly get rid of your chances of catching it. Additionally, it is immune to ghost-type attacks so forget about inflicting this type of damage on it.  

How to evolve Meowth into Persian in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

First, you’ll need to get yourself a Meowth. If you found Meowth at at least level 25 consider yourself lucky as upgrading it to a certain level is a bit of a nuisance.

Meowth will evolve into Persian as soon as you reach level 28. No need to go through special steps as the evolution animation will trigger instantly. You can speed up the process of increasing its level by joining regular battles, Tera Raid Battles, or by consuming Rare Candies and EXP candies. Do take note that Pokemons do not evolve during auto-battles.

Can you get Persian without evolving Meowth in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

If you’re not a fan of Meowth’s form and want to go straight into having a Persian, then we’ve also got you covered. There is one location where you can find yourself a Persian. Head to the West Province Area Three. Here, you’ll have the best chances of catching level 28 to 47 Persian.
