Where to find Croagunk in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If ever you find yourself in Area 5 South Province’s watery areas, and the area between Casseroya Lake and Area 2 West province, you might stumble upon a Croagunk. Sweet, right? 

Croagunk is quite a common spawn, so you can expect to run into one around swamps, rivers and lakes.

When battling against Croagunk, it is important to know that it receives 4x damage from Psychic attacks and 2x from Ground and Flying-type moves. While these are more effective against the Toxic Mouth Pokémon, you’ll want to refrain and avoid knocking it out at all costs if you’re planning to catch ‘em.  Alternatively, you may use a Quick ball.

It is however time-consuming and costly if you’re not fortunate enough to catch a high-level Croagunk. The only requirement to evolve Croagunk into Toxicroak is reaching Level 37. You can speed up the process by joining regular battles or Tera Raid Battles. Alternatively, the use of Rare Candies and EXP candies does the job too.
