How do I redeem Pokemon Go codes?
When they are released, you will want to redeem Pokemon Go codes as quickly as possible before they expire. Fortunately, it doesn’t take long to redeem them. Just follow these simple steps:
On the Pokemon Go app
- Tap on the Pokéball icon on your screen to open the game’s menu.
- Tap Shop and swipe down until you find the Codes text box.
- Enter the code you wish to redeem into the text box and the items should be sent to your in-game mailbox.
If you’re playing Pokemon Go on iOS, you won’t have the option to redeem codes in the app, so you’ll need to head to the Niantic website.
On the Niantic website
- Go to the Niantic Code Redemption page and sign in.
- On the next screen, type the code you wish to redeem into the text box.
- Click Submit and your rewards should be sent to your in-game mailbox.

Why aren’t my Pokemon Go codes working?
The most common reason why Pokemon Go codes aren’t working is that they have already expired. This usually happens within a few days of the code being released, so if the code is older than that it probably isn’t valid anymore.
