Struggling to complete the Overwatch 2 Underworld Lore Hunter challenge? There are plenty of challenges in the missions added with the latest Overwatch 2 update, and while most of them are related to combat or difficulty, there’s one that stands out. The Lore Hunter challenge requires a keen eye, and unless you know what to look out for, it will be a struggle to finish.

If you want to know what’s included in the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Invasion bundle, we’ve got a guide to help you out. And if you’re after the rest of the challenges, be sure to keep track with our Overwatch 2 Underworld challenges and rewards guide. With that, let’s get into how to complete the Overwatch 2 Underworld Lore Hunter challenge.

Underworld Lore Hunter challenge guide

The Lore Hunter challenge in the Underworld update requires you to find and interact with objects at five different locations on the King’s Row map. These can be difficult to find, and combined with the fact that you have to do it all in one mission, you’ll need to know exactly what to look for.

Alex’s Advice

Make sure to hold F to interact with each piece of lore, as just pressing it won’t register your interaction.

We’ve got a list of every interactable and where to find it so you can get this challenge sorted ASAP. Each interactable will be marked with a yellow sparkle, so keep an eye out for that.

‘Machines have no rights graffiti

As soon as you exit your spawn, turn right instead of left and head to the other side of The Fox and Bear pub. On the wall opposite the pub is a wall with the interactable – some graffiti that says ‘Machines have no rights’

Proceed through the level as normal until you reach the giant golden statue of an omnic and a girl. From here, head through the choke point towards the bus, and check behind the wall of the choke on your left. You’ll find a small shrine to Mondatta that you can interact with.

From here, you’ll move through another gate towards the area where you find the robot, TS-1. As you go through the gate, you’ll see a telephone box and some stairs just to the right of it. On the wall at the top of these stairs is a poster advertising one of Lucio’s concerts. This is the third interactable.

Overwatch 2 Underworld Lore Hunter: The location of the music shop interactable.

Music shop

In the centre of this area where you charge TS-1, is a large piece of machinery with some stairs on either side that you can climb up. Walk all the way up these stairs and into the building. On your right, you’ll see a doorway with a light coming from inside. Head in here and walk until you find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned music shop. Interact with the display on your left.

‘Underworld’ graffiti

As you’re escorting the robot, you’ll enter the Underworld area, which is where the last point would be on the normal King’s Row map. As you enter this area, look at the wall on your left to find a piece of graffiti reading “Underworld”. Interact with this to finish up the last piece of lore.
