The best video settings for Overwatch 2 on Xbox are less a matter of objectivity, and more based on your personal TV/monitor setup. It’s worth calibrating and experimenting with your own settings to see what works best for your display, but we’ll show you some baselines that should work regardless of setup.

Display

  • Preferred Mode – Framerate. Resolution mode will make Overwatch 2 positively stunning, but performance will pay the cost. If graphics are everything to you and you don’t mind the hit to your multiplayer potential, then both Resolution and Balanced are good options. Still, Framerate will give you the best chances of competitive success.
  • Gamma Correction – 2.20. Adjustable.
  • Contrast – 1.00. Adjustable.
  • Gamma – 1.00. Adjustable.

HDR

Again, HDR capabilities are entirely dependent on your personal setup. It’s well worth activating if your setup can facilitate it, but you aren’t losing anything relating to competitive potential if not.

  • HDR – On if possible, Off if not supported.
  • HDR Calibration – If your setup supports HDR, calibration is highly worthwhile to get the best performance tailored to you.
