The Dayton Hospital quest tasks you with helping Paul track down his wife Kayla, who went to the nearby hospital to scavenge for medicine. Two days have passed and she’s still missing. Paul’s on his last legs so needs the drugs pronto so off you go to track down Kayla.
On the second floor of the hospital, you’ll find Kayla’s corpse, but also the medkit, which will transport you to a mysterious alternative version of the medical facility when you pick it up. There doesn’t appear to be a clear exit and you’re stuck in a repeating loop. It’s up to you to solve the puzzle and get the drugs back to Paul.

How to solve the Dayton Hospital calendar puzzle
Once you find Kayla and the drugs, head out of the medicine room and go down the corridor ahead. Continue forward until you come to a door that shuts as you approach it. Turn around and you’ll see a glowing wheelchair deviation. Follow it into the next room. Interact with the phone on the reception desk and note what it says, specifically that the patient in bed 2 in room 703 is being discharged on 9/15.
Next, interact with the calendar on the wall. The date is set to January 23. The idea here is to get the calendar to show the discharge date on 9/15. You do this by going through the four exits to the room. If you’re facing the reception desk, the doors on the right and left move the date forwards and backwards, respectively. The doors in front and behind you shift the month forwards and backwards.
Go through the left-hand door eight times to get the date to the 15th and through the front door 8 times to move the month to the 9th, or September. You can keep checking the calendar to make sure you’re moving towards the correct date.
Call the nurse using the phone on the counter once more. Patient 703 is ready to be discharged. After a brief pause, the door to the right of the reception desk will open. Head through and grab the Space Turner deviation to escape Dayton Hospital.
