As you progress through Once Human’s open world, you’ll get to choose from a selection of randomised Specializations. These are character buffs that enhance your meta-human’s abilities, boosting everything from crafting to mining by way of cooking, storage, and even jumping in mostly useful ways.
The catch? Once you’ve chosen a skill, there’s no way to go back on your decision and select a different one. Or at the least that’s what the in-game tooltip says. Developer Starry Studio has integrated a reset function, but you can only reset up to five times per season. More on that below.
How to unlock Specializations
Specializations are unlocked by leveling up your meta-human. Every 5 levels, you’ll unlock a new Specializations. The first node is available at level 5, then the next at 10, and so on, giving you a total of 10 Specializations to choose once you reach the level 50 cap.
Once Human best Specialization
With all that in mind, here are the best ones we’ve come across so far. Note that because the four option draw for each node is randomised for every player, you might never come across some of these, so be prepared to adapt as needed based on what options the system gives you.
