With NBA 2K24 now out for a few days, fans are already eager for the new locker codes that come baring quality free rewards, particularly for The City neighborhood experience. But as some find out along the way on their MyCAREER journey’s, is that the MyPLAYER builds they’ve made might not necessarily be to their liking. And as a result, fans might be curious how they can edit and or delete their MyPLAYER in NBA 2K24? If that’s what you’re after, we detail how you can go about doing both down below.
How to edit MyPLAYER in NBA 2K24
When it comes to editing your MyPLAYER, there’s two possible ways you can do so at two different stages of your MyPLAYER building experience. The first possible way to do so is right when you’re making your build.
Let’s say you started your MyPLAYER building process but don’t want to confirm it yet, you can simply back out, and upon re-entering the MyCAREER mode, can hover over the build you want to alter and the ‘Edit’ option will pop up on the bottom lefthand side of your screen. Once you select it, you will re-enter your build and can jump right back in and finish off what you started.
However, let’s say you already confirmed your build and you want to possibly edit your appearance or gameplay animations, the editing process in that case is a bit different. Once you select your MyPLAYER and enter your neighborhood, visit the main menu and scroll to the MyPLAYER tab. Upon doing so, you will see an ‘Appearance’ menu and an ‘Animations’ menu. As soon as you enter either one, you will be presented with a new layout of options you can pick from and edit.
Should you be trying to customise your build but already confirmed it, you will not be able to do so. And if there’s a part of your build you really don’t want to have or play with anymore, the only option available is to delete it and start from scratch. How to delete MyPLAYER in NBA 2K24
Deleting your MyPLAYER is a lot easier than editing it. Should you simply want to start from scratch and not play with the build you made, all you need to do is load into NBA 2K24, enter MyCAREER, and hover over the build you don’t want anymore. Upon doing so, you will see a ‘Delete’ option pop up at the bottom left of the screen. As soon as you hit it, NBA 2K24 will ask you again if you want to delete the build, and if you still do, you can hold the delete option and it will be removed from your MyCAREER menu.
