Modern Warfare 3 – How to get a nuke
If you want to launch a nuke in MW3, you need to get a 30 killstreak. You won’t see the tactical nuke on the scorestreaks menu because it is a hidden killstreak. This game-ending killstreak reward only becomes available once you get the 30 required kills. Keep in mind that kills from killstreak rewards like the chopper gunner do not count toward the 30-kill total and the kills must be consecutive.
The newest version of this killstreak reward is no longer called the tactical nuke. Instead, it is called the Mass Guided Bomb or MGB and it is the mother of all bombs (not to be confused with the MOAB). When you unlock this deadly weapon in the latest Modern Warfare, it drops a large bomb in the center of the map, killing all players and ending the game.
Once this killstreak is unlocked, you simply need to press right on the D-Pad as you would for any other killstreak reward. This will drop the bomb and end the match.
