So you’re seeking the best Victus XMR loadout in MW3? We’ve got just what you need. There aren’t many new sniper rifles in Modern Warfare 3 and the Victus XMR is a carry-forward weapon from MW2 that’s been enhanced with new features in MW3. 

There’s a lot to like about the Victus. From its high damage to its devastating tungsten sabot-tipped bullets, you can’t go wrong with this weapon when trying to take out enemies from a map like Afghan. But there are other attachments and perks to further improve the Victus which is why we’ve put together the best Victus XMR loadout in MW3. 

Best Victus XMR loadout and attachments in MW3

• Muzzle: Ster45 Skyfury Compensator XL
• Barrel: Mack 8 21.5 Short
• Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
• Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity
• Rear Grip: Bruen G305 Grip Wrap

To kick things off I’ve gone with the Ster45 Skyfury Compensator XL as our Muzzle for the Victus XMR as it improves the recoil and increases your chances of getting one-shot-kills. For Barrel, I tend to use the Mack 8 21.5 Short not that it has any outstanding feature over the rest, but it does give me a slight increase to ADS and hip recoil. 

As for Laser, consider going for the VLK LZR 7MW which not only gives you better aiming stability but also gives you an improved sprint to fire speed. And then we have the .50 Cal High Velocity Ammo which does a fine job of increasing your accuracy, making those long-range shots count. The Bruen G305 Grip Wrap Rear Grip gives you better accuracy as well, which increases the weapon’s overall damage. 

Best Victus XMR perks and equipment in MW3

• Vest: Overkill Vest, 
• Gloves: Quick-Grip Gloves, 
• Sneakers: Covert Sneakers
• Lethal: Frag Grenade
• Tactical: Battle Rage
• Field Upgrade: Ghost T/V Camo

As always, the Overkill Vest will let you storm the battlefield with two primary weapons as well as the ability to sprint while sprinting. The Quick-Grip Gloves combined with the Covert Sneakers will let you move in silence, increasing your chances of performing a finishing move on enemies. 

For your Field Upgrade, you can use the Ghost T/V Camo to avoid detection from enemy radar. As for your Tactical and Lethal equipment, I usually go with Frag Grenade and Battle Rage when using sniper rifles but don’t hesitate to try something different. Smoke or Stun Grenade are good options as well. 

How to Unlock the Victus XMR in MW3

You can unlock the Victus XMR by reaching Level 55, and then activate the weapon’s unlock challenge.
